that the University maintains or pursues. It also includes
the accreditation goals that are being pursued for the
next few years.
Professional
degree programs at FIU are accredited or approved by the appropriate specialized
accreditation agency, or pursuing full accreditation or approval. Each of these
accrediting bodies have their own specific criteria, review process, and time

Florida International University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of
Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees. Contact the
